Nadine Bucher, 72, of Peru, IN, passed away at 11:25 P.M., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Community Howard Regional Health, Kokomo, IN. She was born October 16, 1942 in Bradford, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Ruth Cagle Pitman. She married Fred Bucher on September 6, 1980 and he survives.
Nadine graduated from Bradford High School and was retired from Maconaquah High School where she was a custodian. She was a great wife, mother, grandma and nana. Nadine loved the outdoors, gardening, feeding hummingbirds and spoiling her dog Bentley.
Surviving in addition to her husband Fred Bucher are her children Sherry Jackson and her husband Bob of Arkansas, Reba Jackson of Kokomo, Patty Wright and her husband Jim of Louisiana, Todd Bucher and his wife Angie of Peru, Missy Bucher of Peru, Heather Fowler and her husband Dale of Lafayette; mother-in-law Anita Bucher of Peru; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother and her father-in-law Donald Bucher.
A private funeral service will be held at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
