Frieda Masiuk, 90, formerly of Peru, IN, passed away at 2:20 A.M., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Maple Park Village Nursing Home, Westfield, IN. She was born in Maring , Germany on October 14, 1922 the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Endner. Frieda married Timo Masiuk in Maring, Germany on April 26, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2008

Frieda was a homemaker, a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her son, Herbert Masiuk and his wife Jan of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren Tammy Hardiman of Greensburg, In, and Nicholas Masiuk and his wife Bryn of Indianapolis, IN, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Timo, and eleven sisters in Germany.

A service celebrating the life of Frieda Masiuk will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main, Peru, IN with Deacon Truman Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.
