One of my favorite teachers from Randall elementary ....makes me sad...some great memories from Grissom AFB and she was one of the memories. I'll probably never meet anyone who loved Tom Selleck as much as she! Hope she continued to enjoy life and positively influence students.

I was so sorry to hear of Ms. Glassburn's passing. Just this morning, my mother found a envelope I received from her back when I was in her 5th grade class during the 1980-1981 school year, my one and only year at Randall Elementary when my family moved to Indiana. My mom googled Ms. Glassburn and discovered she had just died. Ms. Glassburn was just a wonderful teacher and mentor and I think of her fondly. She left an amazing legacy of learning - it was teachers like her that taught me to love learning and pursue higher education and a PhD. She will be missed by generations of students!!

So sad to hear. She was my favorite teacher ever. Was in her 5th grade class at Randall in 77-78. I will never forget her and how fun she made school.

My condolences to Miss Glassburn's family. I was in her first 5th grade class at Randall Elem in 73-74 and she was a great teacher! Lessons learned in that class that I still use today! Deana was also a wonderful person - ran into her many times over the years and always had good conversations. The last time I saw her she was enjoying retirement, so sorry that she didn't get to enjoy it longer as it was well deserved after all her years of teaching the youth of Maconaquah School Corp. She will always be remembered!

I was Miss Glassburn's student in 5th grade in the 80's. She was truly the only teacher that inspired me and will always remember her. My condolences to her family and friends.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I was a student teacher close to 30 years ago with Deana at Randall Elementary and taught Second grade for six years with her. She was an outstanding teacher and an amazing gift to so many children. .
