Of course, I knew Mrs. Hunt as your mom, Janis, but I really came to know and appreciate her ebullience when forty years ago (!!!) I was the full time counsellor at Camp Toh-Ka-Nong. With Claridean's guidance, I survived the diabolic camper: Chris Gay! She was absolutely special to me.

Dear Friends: Now a brighter star shines in our Heavens. I have a strengthened resolve to work my own way up there, to bask in Claridean's ready smile and ready hug. She always brightened a room when she entered. In love and sadness, Kubesches.

Over 50 years ago, I learned to bowl at a bowling alley above the Sherman Williams paint store. No automatic pin setters. Young men were at the end of the alley collecting the pins and placing them in the rack for resetting. The bowling ball was placed on a ramp that sent it back to the ball stop. Claridean was my instructor. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone. It was a wonderful time. I am truly sorry for your loss

i'm sure claridean's smile and wonderful spirit are brightening up the heavens as i type! the last time we laughed together was during the open house held in celebration of her 90th birthday. i deeply regret the fact that we didn't get a chance to visit between then and her passing, but i sure do have some terrific memories -- dating all the way back to claridean's leadership as the director of the Y's day camp. i was too young for the summer program, but claridean welcomed me with open arms anyway, something she continued to do for as long as i knew her, which was all but five or so years of my life. i will miss her greatly simply because she was such a wonderful friend and a joy to be around. i am blessed because i knew her.

Linda and I would like to extend our condolences to Claridine's family. She was an exceptional lady and loved by those who knew her. I joined the YMCA thirty years ago and she became an instant friend.

What an amazing woman and what an amazing life. I have been away from Peru since 1978, but remember Mrs. Hunt with great fondness. She had a kind word for everyone and was a huge inspiration to me as a young girl growing up in Peru. Our family spent hours at the Y and she was a huge part of our lives for many years. Sympathies to the family, but definitely a life well-lived, in the service of others.

Mrs. Hunt, you will be greatly missed by all, that Beautiful and Kind Smile and Encouragement that you gave to others. I first met you when I was 12yrs old at the YMCA and I am now getting ready to turn 60 and we have been Good Friends all these years. Your work at the YMCA, helped many over the years, and giving great advise to keep the youth out of trouble and Mrs. Hunt always had a kind word for others -- Mrs. Hunt May You Rest in Peace in the Arms of Our Lord Jesus -- Take Care my Dear Friend and Enjoy Being a Angel in Heaven ^j^ ^j^ ^j^

We will remember Claridean forever or at least until she greets us with a hug in heaven. Love her and already miss her. We are praying for her family and friend for comfort and for the knowledge that she had many many friends and a great life. Her legacy lives on at the YMCA and the town of Peru.
