William Scott Douglass, 54, of Marion, passed away at 12:28 A.M., Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Grant County. He was born in Logansport, IN on December 30, 1967, the son of Albert A. Krysevig and Shirley Ann (Winningham) Douglass. Scott was a 1985 graduate of Peru High School and worked at Dunham’s Distribution Wearhouse in Marion. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and thoroughly enjoyed IU basketball and ND basketball and football. Scott was an animal lover, having a special place in his heart for his dogs “Odie” and Olivia and his cat Jasmine. Surviving is his daughter Savannah Russell and her fiancé Cody Sloan of Peru, his mother Shirley Ann Douglass of Peru; his significant other Beth Stevens of Marion; brothers Bryan (Tammy) Douglass of Muncie and Brandon (Janis) Douglass of Peru and a sister Anita (Jeff) Easterday of Wabash. Scott is also survived by three special aunts, Susie, Mart and Rose and several nieces and nephews survive. A service celebrating the life of William Scott Douglass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main Street, Peru. Burial will follow at Chili Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the Peru Calripkin League.
