Wayne M Lamb

Wayne M. Lamb, 76, of Peru, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Logansport, IN on March 10, 1946, the son of Marion and Mathilda (Tilly) Besse Lamb.  Wayne married Katherine Burns in 1989 and she preceded him in death on December 31, 2021. 

Wayne was a 1964 graduate of Kewanna High School and a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church.    He was a US Air Force Veteran and a retired US Air Force MSGT.  His military decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with seven oak leaf clusters, and the National Defense Service Medal.  He was an avid motorcyclist and thoroughly enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by a daughter, Tillie Lamb and her husband Jarrod Morgan, Columbia City, IN; step children Tia Allor (Moore, OK), Jason Allor (Seattle, WA), Paul Allor (Indianapolis, IN) and David Allor (Louisville, KY); brother William Lamb and his wife Judy (Ft. Wayne), and a sister Joan Gallagher and her husband Michael (Wilmington, OH).

Family and friends of Wayne M. Lamb will gather from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru. There will be a Prayer Service at 8:00 P.M., Monday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Miami County Helping Hands.
