Wayne B. Brindle, 41, of Peru, passed away at 3:40 A.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born on November 20, 1982, the son of the late Brian Brindle and Leanne (Windsor) Brindle. Wayne married Cory Mendenhall on May 20, 2024 and she survives. Wayne was a 2001 graduate of Peru High School and earned his BA at Indiana Wesleyan University and a Masters in Accounting, also at Indiana Wesleyan. He worked at Peru Utilities as Office Financial Manager. Wayne enjoyed hunting, especially duck and deer hunting, was a fan of the Pacers and Purdue and valued his time on his Harley. Surviving in addition to his wife Cory, his mother, Leanne Brindle of Peru; children Hailey Ewer of Ft. Wayne, Logan Ewer of Peru, Bethany Ewer of Peru and Chase Ewer of Peru; brothers Jeremy (Erin) Brindle of Mexico and Brandon (Christina) Brindle of Wabash; in-laws Karen and Tony Mendenhall, sisters-in-law Erica Silence, Ashleigh Geiger and Toni Mendenhall; nephews Brooks and Landon Brindle and Oliver Silence and niece Maura Geiger. A service celebrating the life of Wayne Brindle will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru with Pastor J. Robert Clarck officiating. Burial will be held at New Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M., Friday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
