Vicky Fluette

Vicky Fluette, 76, of Peru, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at Blair Ridge Health Campus on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 11:17 PM.  Vicky was born in Peru, Indiana on September 29, 1943, the daughter of Carl and Lila (Mosher) Greenwald.  She married Al Fluette on December 1, 1962 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2016

Vicky was a recess monitor for Peru Community Schools for several years and worked at DeRozier’s Bakery in Peru.  She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and crafting.  She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.  She completed her GED later in life.

She is survived by her children; Leo Fluette, Peru, IN, Gerald Fluette and his wife Gina, Peru, IN, Michelle LeBlanc and her fiancé Robert Buettner of Odenton, MD; a grandson, Captain Alexander LeBlanc, Joint-Base Charleston, SC. and several nieces and nephews that she thought the world of.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Russell Stevens, her husband Al, a beloved sister Phyllis Duncan and one brother.

A service celebrating the life Vicky C. Fluette will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St. Peru, IN, with Pastor Adam Mauman officiating. Friends and family will gather from 6:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made thru the funeral home to St. Charles Catholic Church and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
