Therese “Terry” Marie Quin, 64, of Peru, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 5:12 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born in Warren, Michigan, Terry was the daughter of Steven and Rose (Pluszczynski) Sackyta. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Warren and went on to earn her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Oakland University in 1992. On October 5, 1990, Terry married the love of her life, Dr. Gregory Quin, who survives. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Terry grew up in Detroit, where she enjoyed close bonds with her family and friends. In 1996, she and her family relocated to Peru, Indiana, which she quickly made home. Terry lived a full and colorful life, filled with simple joys and deep passions. She was a dedicated mother, loving wife, and adoring grandmother. She had a sharp mind and a creative spirit, always keeping her hands busy with crocheting, puzzles, and new craft projects. She had a unique flair for homemade treats—her shrimp muffins, Spritzer cookies, and chili cheese dip were legendary at family gatherings. She had a love for Disney, sunflower seeds, Swedish Fish, Greek food, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. Terry held many roles throughout her life—paralegal, medical assistant, office manager, waitress, and most proudly, a stay-at-home mom. Regardless of the job title, her focus was always on caring for others and creating a warm, welcoming space for her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Gregory; her children: Dr. Kelsey Quin of Orlando, Colin Quin of Peru, Connor (Lexi) Quin of Rochester, and Keegan Quin of Fort Wayne; and her treasured grandsons, Bennett and Everett Quin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sue, and her brother Kenneth. In keeping with Terry’s wishes, there will be no services. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
