Theresa A. (Brunnemer) Walker

Theresa A. Walker, 76, of Peru, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Kokomo, IN on August 21, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Regina Sweeny Brunnemer. Theresa married Terry Walker on August 20, 1986, Kokomo, IN and he survives. Theresa was a graduate of Kokomo High School and IU Nursing School. She was a member of the Salem Christian Church and retired from nursing. Theresa was a compassionate, caring nurse that always took care of others as if they were her own. Surviving in addition to her husband, Terry, is a daughter Lindsy Wilkerson and her husband Nicholas and a son Jeremy Walker; grandchildren Alexander Wilkerson, Katerina Wilkerson and Nicholas Wilkerson; sisters Marsha Sullivan and Brenda Ott Murray; nieces Holli Meehan, Alexa Smith, Abby McLay; a nephew Travis McLay; and several great nieces and nephews including Kaylee McLay. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Rankin Cemetery, South Strawtown Pike, Peru.
