Terry L. Kennedy

Terry L. “Cowboy” Kennedy, 65, of Peru passed away at 1:46 PM, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Dukes Memorial Hospital. He was born in Marion, IN on June 13, 1956 the son of Lowell Kennedy and Wanda Duckett Hill. Terry served his country the US Marines, he was a Lance Corporal with military decorations including the National Defense Service Medal, the Rifle Expert Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. He worked at Haynes International and was an avid motorcyclist who was known as “Cowboy”. When he wasn’t riding, he could be found outdoors enjoying all that nature had to offer. Terry is survived by his sons Matt Kennedy and his wife Michelle of Logansport, IN and Jeremy Kennedy and his wife Michelle of Kokomo, IN; his mother Wanda Hill of Florida; grandchildren Glenna, Abigail, Aidan, Conner, Breanna and Kaitlin; brothers Reggie Kennedy and his wife Kim of Kokomo, IN and Jeff Kennedy and his wife Pam of Kokomo and sister Rita Brown and her husband Bill of Kokomo, IN. He was preceded in death by his father Lowell. A family gathering celebrating the life of Terry L. Kennedy will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
