Suellen Hollering, 78, of Kokomo, passed away at 7:15 A.M., Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Jefferson Manor of Kokomo. Suellen was born in Logansport, IN on October 4, 1944, the daughter of James F. and Phyllis Marie Day Farrer. She married Walter “Bud” Hollering in Logansport on January 25, 1993 and he survives. Suellen was a Logansport High School graduate and worked as an LPN in area nursing homes for more than 30 years. She always made everyone she came in contact with and cared for in the nursing homes feel extra special. Suellen was a very caring, giving and hardworking lady, who always saw the beauty in nature and in everyone she met. Suellen thoroughly enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family and IU Basketball. Surviving in addition to her husband, Bud, are children Mike (Lori) Barnett, Kris (Tina) Barnett, Jack (Erin) Barnett, Rick (Lisa) Hollering, Cindy (Steve)Wilson and Mike (Brandy) Hollering; grandchildren Kara, Kory, JD, Brantlyn, Steven, Nicole, Daryn, Dakota, Robbie, Shaun (Holli), Eric (Christina), Drew, Sophie and Escher; great-grandchildren Hudson, Harrison, Joy, Brooks, Blake, Grayson, Carson, Cohen, Naliah, Kizer, Ireland, Scarlet, Forest, Teagan, Mara, Jackson and Hawkins; a brother Rev. Jim Farrer; a sister Patty (Larry) Rhoades and her 18year old kitty “Oreo”. A memorial service, celebrating the life of Suellen Hollering will be held at 5:00 P.M., Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street with her brother, Rev James Farrer officiating. Family and friends will gather from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Friday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
