Roger L. Brown, 73, of Peru, passed away 1:15AM, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Peru on March 23, 1951, the son of Glen and Betty Brooks Brown. Roger was a 1970 graduate of North Miami High School and attended the United Brethren Church in Mexico. He was a retired tool & die maker with Gen Corp. An avid sports fan, Roger, enjoyed watching the Bears & Colts and playing golf. A 1950-1960 music enthusiast, he particularly enjoyed the Beetles. Roger loved being outdoors, cutting wood, doing yard work and sitting around bonfires. Family was above all else the most important thing in his life, and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Roger is survived by his wife, Marcia, a daughter, Christy Doolin and her husband John of Peru, grandchildren Berkeley Davis, Jerezey Doolin and Jereney Doolin, his mother, Betty Brown of Mexico, 3 sister and 2 brothers.
