Robert A Doran

Robert A. Doran, 83, of Peru, passed away at 10:05 PM, Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Peru.     Bob was born in Peru on March 12, 1936, the son of Arthur and Marcedes Cathell Doran.   He married Rita Jo Conner at Main Street United Methodist Church, Peru on October 7, 1956 and she preceded him in death on March 20, 2016.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Peru High School and served in the Indiana National Guard.  A self-employed contractor, Bob was active in building construction until his retirement in 2011.

Surviving is his daughter, Raina Hamann of Tampa,. Fl., a grandson Austin Hamann of Lafayette, a sister Karen Donaldson of Peru, a brother Paul (Michael) Doran of Peru, and several nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating the life of Robert A. Doran will be held  at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Main Street United Methodist Church, Peru with Pastor Lauren Hall officiating. Burial will be at Mt Hope Cemetery, Peru.   Family and friends will gather from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W Main in Peru.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Main Street United Methodist Church.
