Raymond A. Keyes III

Raymond A. Keyes III, 70, of Peru, passed away at 8:00 A.M., Monday, March 16, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Washington DC, on February 8, 1950, the son of Raymond A. Keyes Jr. and Jacqueline Jackson Keyes. Raymond married Barbara Schrader on August 5, 1972 and she survives. Raymond was a 1972 graduate from Indiana University with a degree in Criminal Justice and he was the owner of Doane-Keyes Associates, Inc. He attended St. Charles Catholic Church. Raymond was a fan of the New York Yankees, the Indianapolis Colts and an avid fan of the Indiana Hoosiers. Even though he enjoyed sports, Raymond’s heart belonged to his wife, children, grandchildren and the employees he worked with daily. Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara, are his daughters Shana (Jim) Peconga of Jacksonville, FL, Lindsay (Parker) Black of Noblesville, Lauren (Blake) Barnes of Peru and Hillary Keyes of Denver, CO; grandchildren Mason Barnes, Sydney Barnes, Whitney Barnes, Mackenzie Black and Peyton Black. A Private Service celebrating the life of Raymond A. Keyes III will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church with Rev Adam Mauman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru to the St. Charles Catholic Church.
