Phillip R. Kidd

Phillip R. Kidd, 60, of Peru, passed away at 10:52 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Kokomo, IN on October 25, 1961, the son of Wayne and Reta Ingersoll Kidd. He was a graduate of the American School. Phil was active in the Brain Injury Support Group, Kokomo, IN, an avid NASCAR fan, a skilled woodworker and cat lover. He is survived by his mother, Reta Kidd of Peru, a niece Ashley Kidd of Peru, cousins Wayne & Nadine Palmer of Quincy, IL, Nancy Davis of St. Louis, MO and Arleta Dye of Memphis, MO and friend and advocate Jessica Mulis of Peru. Phil was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Kidd and a brother, Paul Kidd. A service celebrating the life of Phillip R. Kidd will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Pastor Randy Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the Scratching Post Cat Rescue.
