Pauline (Miller) Myers Rhine, 97, of Bunker Hill, passed away at 3:30 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. She was born in Howard County on December 2, 1928, the daughter of Alvin and Polly Hochstedler Miller. She married Paul Dale Myers on July 16, 1951 and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1976. She then married Richard D. Rhine on March 17, 1979 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2013. Pauline was a 1946 graduate of Clay Township High School and attended Goshen College. She was a member of Howard-Miami Church and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She was well known for her extraordinary cooking skills which showed true at the events and weddings she often catered. Baking and decorating wedding cakes was her specialty. Pauline cherished her family more than anything. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Pauline is survived by her children Cheryl (Ken) Steinborn of Clayton, Teresa (Carey (dec.)) Miller of Kokomo, Ann (Dale (dec.)) Graber of Peru, Thomas (Marjorie) Myers of Illinois, Brent (Kimberly) Myers of Bunker Hill, Alan (Sharon) Myers of Alabama, Krista (Wayne) Bradley of Kokomo; stepchildren Rick (Deb) Rhine of Mexico, IN, and Rodney (Brenda) Rhine of Kentucky; 21 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 12 step-great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three children Evelyn, Eleanor, and Elaine; and her siblings, Hilda Schrock and Barbara Ann Myers, A service celebrating the life of Pauline Myers Rhine will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Howard-Miami Church, 3976 E 1400 S, Kokomo, with Pastor Matt Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Mast Hensler Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Howard-Miami Church.
