Paula, an Italian-American who has lived in Peru for over 35 years, left her friends and family too early at the age of 74 years old. She was known as a grumpy yet lovable mule of a woman who “just told it as it is”. She tended to show her love through sharing recipes she’s developed from years as a professional cook and overfeeding her loved ones. Paula spent her years raising hell traveling the world with her Air Force husband, Steven, collecting hundreds of pieces of jewelry, and threatening her family with thukadas. She will be missed dearly by her family which span across New York, North Carolina, and Indiana. She is survived by her daughter Jodie, (her favorite) son Michael, and her seven grandchildren. Paula chose not to have a funeral or viewing as she believed it was a waste of money and time for everyone. However, she would like her ashes to be sent off in a firework thus going out in a blaze of glory as she deserved.
