Paul Kahre, age 60, of Grafton, WI, passed away peacefully during the night of October 1-2, 2024 in his residence. He was born June 2, 1964, the third son of Barbara (nee Spudic) and Conrad Kahre of Peru, IN. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother Ray of Houston, TX, and his brother Eric & Eric’s wife Lori of Carmel, IN. Also surviving is nephew Ian Kahre & wife Courtney of Fishers, IN. Surviving nieces are Lauren Troyer & husband Dr. Wesley of Neptune Beach, FL; Erin Swisher & husband Andrew of Indianapolis, IN; Lauren Oelsen & husband Grant of La Marque, TX; and Mary Beth Kahre of Houston, TX. Paul graduated from Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill, IN, in 1982, where he was an honor student and played football. He studied at Purdue University in W. Lafayette, IN from 1983-84, then at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design in 1986. He had worked as a project engineer for the design and production firm of Frank Mayer and Associates in Grafton since 2001. He worshipped God with the congregation at Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove, WI. A private family graveside service at St. Charles Cemetery in Peru will be on a later date. All arrangements are through Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main, Peru. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 136 W.
