Patsy L Jackson

Patsy L. Jackson, 88, of Peru passed away at 9:05 PM, Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Blair Ridge Health Campus in Peru.  She was born in Peru on June 9, 1931, the daughter of Robert and Ruth Kenworthy Lobenthal..  Patsy married Jack E. Jackson on August 10, 1968 and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1990.

Patsy was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Peru.  She was employed as an Assembler at Square D for more than 29 years retiring in June 1995, and she was continually helping people from Square D with their union pension and insurance questions.  Patsy was a proud member of the International Aerospace Machinist Union Local 2069 and a devoted Democrat and union worker. After retirement from Square D, Patsy became a volunteer at Miami County Helping Hands and the Fountain Blues.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Poff and her husband, Tom Brunner, of New Waverly and Sherry Elliott and her husband, David, of Syracuse; sons, Gerry Jackson and his wife, Crystal, of Fort Wayne and Scott Jackson of Peru; grandchildren, Kassi (Pedro Felix) Kindlesparker, Traci (Troy) Blackman, Lukus (Brynn) Kindlesparker, Thaddeus (Colleen) Reed, Gatlin Poff, Shane (Regina) Phillipy, and Josephine Phillipy; great-grandchildren, Boston Blackman, Berklee (Luke) Sutton, Ella Kindlesparker, Austin Reed, Anna Reed, Sophia Phillipy, Luca Phillipy, Mossimo Phillipy, Duke Kindlesparker, Drew Kindlesparker, Marley Kindlesparker, and Mason Kindlesparker; and a great-great-granddaugter, Kennedy Sutton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, a son, Danny Phillipy, a grandson, Kyle Phillipy, and brothers, Robert Hight and Thomas Lobenthal.

A service celebrating the life of Patsy L. Jackson will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W Main St, Peru with Pastor Phillip Troxell officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Miami County Helping Hands or the Mossimo Scholarship Fund.
