Monica “Mickey” Wilson, 64, of Peru passed away at 7:25pm at the Howard Community Hospital on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Mickey was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on January 23, 1956, the daughter of Phillip S. Clark and Adeline I. Holland. Mickey was a 1974 graduate of Peru High School and a 1978 graduate of Indiana University. After graduation, she worked as the director of billing for IU Medical. Mickey was also a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Peru. Mickey enjoyed working in the garden and cooking. She also loved conversating with friends and keeping up with what her grandchildren were doing. Surviving are her children, Nathan (Kristen) Wilson of Carmel, Kelly (Justin) Marvel of Lizton; grandchildren, Brinton Clark Marvel, Kyla Marvel, Emma Wilson, and Stella Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Earl Clark; and a sister, Margaret Ann Clark. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00A.M. with Reverend Adam Mauman officiating. There will be a celebration of life at the Moose Lodge in Peru following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made through the funeral home to Miami County Helping Hands.
