Matthew Clinton Dennison, 54, of Converse, In, passed away May 9, 2026 leaving behind many who loved him deeply. Matthew lived a life grounded in faith, family, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. His love for Jesus was central to his life and guided the way he cared for those around him.

Matthew was a 1990 graduate of Oak Hill High School and obtained his associates degree from Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis.

He was the loving son of Pam Camden (Garry Camden) and the late George Dennison Jr. Matthew was also a caring brother to Cynthia Dennison, Greg Camden (Shannon), and Kurk Camden (Brandy).

Matthew was the devoted father of Seth Dennison (Natalie), Carrington Dennison (Alex Walker), Peyton Walker, and David Dennison, who preceded him in death. He was a loving grandfather to Madeline Dennison and one on the way, Xavier Walker, and Skyler Crabtree who also preceded him in death.

Matthew enjoyed hobbies that reflected both patience and creativity. He loved building computers, collecting electric trains, bass fishing, trapping, and building model cars. He had a talent for song writing and composing music. As a young man, he was involved in Boy Scouts, where he developed a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.

Matthew will be remembered for his love of family, his quiet passions, and his steadfast faith in Jesus. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family who loved him so dearly.

A service celebrating the life of Matthew Clinton Dennison will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St. Amboy, with George Siler officiating. Burial will be in the Park Lawn cemetery. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Laird Eddy Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
