Mary E. Grant, 94, of Denver, IN, passed away at 5:30 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Burkett, IN, on June 16, 1930, the daughter of Estil and Anna Rardin Sriver. Mary married Joseph D. Grant in October of 1966, and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1977. Mary was a 1947 graduate of Akron High School. Her mission in life was her family, and above all else the most important thing was being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in as many activities as she could. She is survived by her children, Deborah Pilarsky of Warner Robins, GA, Kimberly (Carl) Pugh of Denver, IN, Joni (Scott) Hulderson of Shepherdsville, KY, Julia (Kirk) Hartwell of Rentz, GA, David (Jodi) Grant of Denver, IN, and Jeffrey (Molly) Grant of Peru, IN; grandchildren Christopher Keith, Derrick Pilarsky, Jeffrey Grant, Alesha Jacobs, Mallory Hunter, Blake Pugh, Joseph Grant, Amber Hartwell, Ashley Hartwell, Alex Mills, Emily Casad, and Eligh Hartwell; great-grandchildren, Chloe Keith, Kolton Pilarsky, Abrahm Flanders, Marshall Grant, Ryan Grant, Samuel Grant, Nolan Pugh, Brock Hunter, Riley Jacobs, Leela Hartwell, Lakota Hartwell, and Charli Hartwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, her son Danny Cunningham, her son-in-law Robert Pilarsky, and her siblings John Sriver, James Sriver, and Geneva Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the American Cancer Society.
