Marsh Junior Browning, 83, of Peru, passed away at 7:50 A.M., Monday, December 1, 2025 at Dukes Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kentucky on February 26, 1942, the son of Marsh and Bertha Browning. Junior married Juanita Lonne on October 4, 1968 and she survives. Junior worked in the construction field for many years and retired from Woodcrest Manufacturing. His most treasured roll was serving his family as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Junior enjoyed being outside whether it be hunting, camping or fishing. Small things made a great deal to Junior and he was a very patriotic individual. Junior thoroughly enjoyed his daily naps. He will be missed by all who knew him. Junior was a very kind and generous man, with a memorable smile that would light up a room. Surviving in addition to his wife Juanita, is a son Tommy Wade Boggs of Peru; grandsons Tommy James Boggs and his wife Rachel of Pierceton and Jesse Lee Boggs of Converse; great-grandchildren Haley Boggs, Jack Boggs and Ryan Boggs and a brother Leonard Browning and his wife Kathy of Peru. A service celebrating the life of Marsh Junior Browning will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday December 5, 2025 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Pastor Randy Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Reyburn Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 11:00 A.M till time of service at 1:00 P.M. Friday.
