Marilyn T. Holderman, 81, of Peru, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Chicago, IL, on May 6, 1944, the daughter of Thomas F. and Veronica M. (Ankiewicz) Rybarczyk. Marilyn married her high school sweetheart, Jack Holderman at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Wabash, on September 21, 1963 and he survives. Marilyn was a 1962 graduate of Manchester High School and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was a member of the Dukes Hospital Auxiliary, serving as treasurer for 10 years. Marilyn was an employee of the Peru Trust Company / Wells Fargo for 28 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed doing word puzzles, online games and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband of nearly 62 years, Marilyn is survived by her children Michael Holderman and his wife Jeanette of Cincinnati, OH, David Holderman of Peru and Julie Schaaf of Peru; grandchildren Justin Holderman, David “Jake” Holderman, Zachary Schaaf and his wife Alexandra, and Katelyn Brubaker and her husband Elijah; great-grandchildren Ivory Brubaker and Wren Holderman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carol Chamberlain. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Marilyn T. Holderman will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, September 20, 2025 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. 5th St, Peru with Rev. Kyle Neterer officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M., Saturday at the church. Private burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Charles Catholic Church or Miami County Helping Hands.
