Madonna R. (Sipe) Dills

Madonna R. Dills, 93, passed away at 12:06 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Colonial Oaks, Marion. She was born in New Haven, IN on July 26, 1929, the daughter of Arthur and Sylvia Glassburn Sipe. Madonna married Arthur E. Dills in North Manchester, IN on April 21, 1948 and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1990. Madonna was a Clay Township High School graduate and worked as a tester for 23 years at RCA. A member of Loree Brethren Church, she also attended Marion Church of Brethren. Madonna was an avid sewer, loved making many quilts and crocheted items for family and friends. She enjoyed working puzzles and spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are daughters Cindra Krill of Marion and Kathie Dills of Noblesville; a grandson Chaz Krill and a great-granddaughter Harmony Krill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur, and siblings Phyllis Walker, Mae Draving, Betty McNeely, Vernon Sipe and Judy Legate. A service celebrating the life of Madonna R. Dills will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Pastor Robin Wentworth-Mayer officiating. Burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 9th at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the American Cancer Society.
