Lynne Ann Copeland

May 28, 1951 ~ April 27, 2021 (age 69)

Obituary

Lynne Ann Copeland was a caring mother, sister, daughter, and aunt. She passed away Tuesday, April 27th, 2021, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, at the age of 69. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing all challenges with determination and perseverance. Despite the pain, she stayed strong through the end.

Lynne was born to William and Betty Copeland on May 28th, 1951, in Peru, Indiana. She met her husband, Ben, in high school; they married in 1969 when she graduated from Peru High School. Together, they had two children: Michael and Carol.

Lynne, nicknamed "The Organizer," was notorious for making sure everything and everyone was in the right place at the right time and in the right order. Her family was extremely important to her and she was always taking care of everyone.

Lynne's favorite activities revolved around the water: fishing, swimming, boating. She instilled the love of an early morning fishing expedition in her kids and those memories will never fade. She was a lifelong beautician and a member of the Eastern Star.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Michael Milton and Carol Milton, both of Indianapolis; sister Suzy Dresser of New Haven, brother William (Carol) Copeland of Scottville, Michigan; nieces Rachel and Leah Dresser, nephew Jimmy (Danielle) Dresser, and grand-nephew Jalen Thompson.
