Louise “Dot” Reiken, 89, of Peru, passed away at 4:50 A.M., Monday, June 12, 2023, at Parkview Wabash Hospital.  She was born in Idaville,  IN, on September 7, 1933, the daughter of Harley and Margaret (Carnahan) VanMeter.  She married John “Tom” Morris on October 10, 1952, and he preceded her in death on February 25, 1978.   She then married Charles Lloyd Reiken on October 20, 1978, and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2012.

Dot was a 1951 graduate of Peru High School and Owner-operator of Morris Specialty Co. till she retired in 2005.  Dot was a member of the Grace Brethren Church and the YMCA Carriage Club.

Dot is survived by a daughter Cheryl Webb of Logansport and was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Morris.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Louise “Dot” Reiken will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the Peru Grace Brethren Church, 430 S. Broadway, Peru, with Pastor Dave Jodry officiating.
