Linda Garrett, 77, of Peru, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her residence. Linda was born in Indianapolis, on December 1, 1944, the daughter of Darrel and Mamie Sater Dobbs. A natural caregiver, Linda thrived in taking care of family and friends. Surviving are her children Tammy Crum of Kokomo, Jimmy Garrett of Muncie, Jerry Garrett of Muncie, Colten Garrett of Peru, Izayah Garrett of Marion and Aleczandra Garrett of Kokomo; sisters Judy Weans of Muncie and Gladys Coats of Muncie; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Janita Robinson, son Danny Garrett, two sisters and a brother. A service celebrating the life of Linda Garrett will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Pastor James Blazek officiating. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, love offerings may be made to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to help the family with Linda’s final expenses.
