Larry L. Fewell, 78, of Amboy, IN passed away at 5:55 AM, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Peru on August 18, 1942 the son of Everett and Catherine Haase Fewell. Larry married Tamara Pond on June 22, 1963 and she survives.

Larry was a 1961 graduate of Clay Township High School and retired Chrysler employee. He was a field member National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. He took great pleasure in building and flying model airplanes and building muzzle loading rifles.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and a true people person. He always made everyone he came in contact with feel extra special. Family and friends were the cornerstones of Larry’s life.

Surviving in addition to his wife Tamara, is a son Eric Fewell of Flora, IN; a daughter Lisa (Roger) Vincent of Amboy, IN; grandchildren Alexandra Fewell, Gabrielle Fewell, Devin (Chelsea) Vincent, Sean Vincent; a great grand-daughter Lorelai Vincent and a sister Joyce Lake of Lewisburg, IN.

A service celebrating the life of Larry L. Fewell will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Amboy, IN with Larry’s brother-in-law, Pastor Blaine Pond officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from Noon – 2:00 PM, Tuesday at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Amboy Volunteer Fire Department.
