Kenneth Lee Driver, 84, of Mexico, IN, passed away at 6:25 A.M., Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his residence. Kenneth was born in Lima, Ohio on October 9, 1939, the son of Robert L. and Zelma (Miller) Driver. He married Renee Pond on August 9, 1991 and she survives. Kenneth was a 1957 graduate of Elida High School in Elida, Ohio and attended North Manchester College for 2 years. He attended New Life Church of Mexico and was an upstanding man and husband. Retired from Delco, Kenneth and Renee loved wintering in Florida. A lover of gospel music, they went to their first Southern Gospel music concert on their honeymoon and have attended several since. Surviving in addition to his wife, Renee, is a son, William Scott Driver of Tipton and a daughter, Susan Driver of Kokomo, step children Kelly Shoffner of TN and Kimberly (David) Conroy of Kokomo; a sister Wanda (Don) Whitmore of Lima, Ohio and three grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. There will be a Private Family service with Pastor Blaine Pond officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Laird -Eddy Funeral Home, Amboy, IN to the New Life Church of Mexico.
