Karen Elaine (Kreutzer) Wiseman, 75, passed away surrounded by her family on March 21, 2021. She was born in Peru, IN, on January 6, 1946 to the late Richard and Virginia (Wilson) Kreutzer.
Left to cherish Karen’s memory are her husband of 54 years, Robert; their 6 children: Robert Jr. (Sarah) Wiseman, Erica (Doug) Cole, Marcus (Zdenka) Wiseman, Mary (Jeff) Carley, Philip (Mindy Lehman) Wiseman, and Anne (Ajay) Multani; grandchildren: Devin Roush, Alexander Wiseman, Reagan, Rory, Morgan, and Paisley Cole, and Avleen Multani; great grandchildren: Lucy and Eli; siblings: Kay (Ben) Scott, Kathy (Jay) Lewis, and Carol (John) Fishback; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Karen and her husband to be, Bob, met at the South Bend College of Commerce in South Bend, IN, where Karen earned her AA Degree in Accounting. She worked for the College after graduation and then for the St. Joseph Bank as a Credit Analyst, eventually going into her permanent career as a housewife and stay at home mother. It was in these areas that she excelled as she loved her family dearly, which shows in how well they turned out. Karen was also a devout Christian, loving the Lord with all her heart. She loved reading, especially the Bible, playing cards and having big family get-togethers around the holidays.
Karen and Bob lived in the South Bend area for many years before retiring and moving to Sarasota, FL, in 2013, where they lived until her passing. Karen was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a special friend to many people and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service is planned for May 15, 2021 at Christ Chapel Church, 3402 S Locust Rd, South Bend, IN 46614, at 11:00am.
