Julie A. Brown Malott, 54, of Peru passed away at 7:53 AM on Tuesday, June 29 at her residence. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on January 30, 1967 the daughter of Richard and Juanita O’banion Brown. Julie married Chad Malott on July 31, 2004 and he survives. Julie was a 1985 graduate of Kokomo High School and was a Special Education Instructor for Peru Community Schools. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was an avid IU fan. More than anything Julie was a joy to be around. She was an excellent mother and grandmother who loved her family beyond measure. Surviving in addition to her husband Chad are daughters Bailey (Samantha) Brazzel of Peru, Cassidy Malott of Peru, Macey (Zach) Cox of Kokomo, and Mallory (Jesus) Rebollar of Kokomo; a son Mitchel Malott of Frankfort; a sister Lisa King of Russiaville; brothers-in-law Thomas (Chanda) Malott of Walton, Greg Malott of Peru and Lance (Deanna) Malott of New Castle; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. A service celebrating the life of Julie A. Brown Malott will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Rev. Eric Roemer officiating. Burial will be in Russiaville Cemetery. Friends may gather at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through Eikenberry-Eddy to the Peru Community Schools Special Education Fund.
