Judy Kay Sullivan, 80, of Peru passed away at 11:30 AM, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Blair Ridge Health Campus surrounded by her children. She was born in Peru, IN on November 3, 1940 the daughter of Joseph and Wilma See Donat.
Judy was a member of the Bunker Hill Free Baptist Church and a 1958 graduate of Bunker Hill High School. She worked as the manager of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and then as the secretary for the Carpenters Union. Judy enjoyed the organ and frequently played at The Siding Restaurant for the dinner guests. She loved to travel and was a avid Notre Dame and Purdue fan. More than anything she loved her role as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and adored watching her grandchildren play.
Judy is survived by her daughters Susan (Jim) Hoover of Peru and Jodi (Max) Salsbury of England; her son Mark (Julie) Sullivan of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren David (Jan) Hoover, Amy (Troy) Hudson, Joseph Salsbury, Katherine (Nick) Bourne, Kimmy Sullivan and Katie Sullivan; four great grandchildren and sister Janet Riggle of Peru. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Meriell Turnpaugh.
A service celebrating the life of Judy Kay Sullivan will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Pastor Bill Sheets officiating. Burial will following in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to Bunker Hill Free Baptist Church.
