Judy Yvonne (Kinney) Stanley

Judy Yvonne (Kinney) Stanley, 89, formerly of Peru, passed away at 6:59 P.M., Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her home in Wabash. Judy was born in Peru, on May 30, 1935, the daughter of Kenneth and Wilma (McCreary)Kinney. She married Donald Stanley on July 10, 1955 and he survives. Judy was a graduate of Akron High School in 1953 and earned a secretarial degree from South Bend College of Commerce in 1954. She worked as a secretary at Square D, North Miami Community Schools, Saine-Summers Insurance, Dukes Hospital and Dr.’s Redmon and Reese office. Judy was a member of the American Business Women’s Association. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, baking treats for family and friends and crocheting, but her favorite thing was spending time with family and spoiling the grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband, Donald, are daughters Debra (Randy) Grable of Twelve mile, and Tami Miller of Peru; four grandchildren Jim Miller, Brooke Inman, Andrew Grable and Stephanie (Grable) Felz; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Max Kinney, Keith Kinney and Gene Kinney. A service celebrating the life of Judy Stanley will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Chaplain Kevin Conklin officiating. Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 5th at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society.
