Judith E (Koontz) Daily

Judith E. Daily, 86, of Logansport, IN passed away at 9:33 AM, Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Chase Center Nursing and Rehab in Logansport. She was born in Peru on January 28, 1937, the daughter of Lloyd and Frances Fansler Koontz.

Judy was a homemaker and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She always made everyone she came in contact with feel extra special and she loved her family unconditionally. An avid outdoorsman, Judy loved hunting for mushrooms and fishing. A perfect day would be ended by attending Bingo.

Surviving are her children Kathy Johnston of Logansport, Cindy Shedron of Logansport, Robert Martin of Clymers and William Daily of Kokomo; her brothers Tommy Koontz of Nacoqdoches, TX and Danny Koontz of Huntsville, TX; several nieces and nephews, including her niece Terri Kistler of Logansport and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister-in-law Joe and Martha Koontz.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Judith E. Daily will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru, IN with Chaplain Rick Delaney officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Family and Friends with gather from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
