Juanita R. (Taylor) Colegrove

Juanita R. Colegrove, 71, of Peru, passed away at 1:10 A.M., Monday, December 16, 2024 at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru. She was born in Peru on February 8, 1953, the daughter of Wallace and Mary K. (Weaver) Taylor. Juanita married Gary Colegrove on February 23, 1974 and he survives. Juanita was a graduate of Peru High School and worked as a press operator at General Tire. Juanita loved playing bingo, but loved being with her grandkids even more. Surviving in addition to her husband, Gary, is a son Gary (April) Colegrove, Jr. and a daughter Janell Colegrove; grandchildren Evan (MayLynn) Colegrove, Jenna Thorpe, Kora Thorpe and Madisyn Colegrove; a great-grandchild Klyde Colegrove and sisters Sharon (Arnie) Musselman and Ashley (Danny) Church. She was preceded by her parents, a brother and two sisters. A Graveside service, celebrating Juanita Colegrove will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 20, 2024 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, IN.
