Jewel (Donathan) Geyer, 92, of Wabash, passed away at 7:15 A.M., Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Blair Ridge Health Campus, Peru. Jewel was born on December 22, 1933, in Frenchburg, KY, the daughter of Green and Anna (Walton) Donathan. She married David Geyer on April 6, 1968 and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2013. A member of the Chapel of Praise, Jewel’s faith was paramount in her life. You could find Jewel enjoying the outdoors, spending her time with the Lord or tending her flower gardens. Though a quiet person, Jewel loved visiting with family and friends or pampering her cat, Callie. Surviving are her sons Kenny (Brenda) McCoy of Wabash and Ron (Jerri) McCoy of Peru; grandchildren, Amanda (Larry) Miller, Hope (Andre) Burton, Faith (Matthew) Moore, Kristen (Brandon) Karnes; great-grandchildren, Krista (Chas) Birchfield, Hannah (Nathan) Riggle, Brady Miller and Caleb Moore. Jewel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David, a son, Bill McCoy and all 10 of her siblings. A private family service will be held at a later date.
