Jessie J. Fink, 85, of Peru, Indiana passed away at 5:45 A.M., Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Blair Ridge Health Campus, Peru, Indiana.  Jessie was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, on June 13, 1939, the son of Forest and Ruth (Witz) Fink. He married Christa Hammes on Oct. 15, 1997, and she survives. Jessie served in the US Army and the National Guard, worked on the assembly line at Caterpillar for 3 years in Illinois and retired after driving semi for 44 years. He was a member of the Men of Honor Society in Wisconsin. Surviving in addition to his wife, Christa are children Michael (Penny) Fink, Timothy (Nicole) Fink, Christopher Fink, and Hans (Patricia) Reitz; 2 brothers and 5 sisters and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by his parents, and 6 brothers and sisters. Following Jessie’s wishes, there will be no services.
