Obituary
Jayne Ellen Church, 79, of Peru passed away at 3:50 AM, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Waters of Peru. She was born in Miami County on December 3, 1943, the daughter of Ernest and Marth (Hull) Lees.
Jayne worked at Gallahan Truck Stop for 17 years where she thoroughly enjoyed helping her coworkers and costumers. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and staunch supporter of her grandchildren, evidenced by her frequent presence at school and sport functions.
Jayne is survived by her children Amanda Waters and her husband Dean of Bunker Hill, Anthony Chapman of Peru, James Chapman and his wife Donna of Westfield, IN; grandchildren Draven Waters, Nola Waters, Kayla Blankenship, Bailee Chapman, Brandon Chapman and Kyle Chapman; and three great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
