James E Thibeault

 James E. Thibeault, 67, of Peru, passed away at 5:05 P.M., Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN with his wife, children and grandchildren by his side.   He was born on October 4, 1955, at the US Air Force Hospital, Westover AFB, MA, the son of Charles E. and Shirley Martin Thibeault.  Jim married Teresa Rogers on May 7, 1983, and she survives.

Jim was a 1975 graduate of Peru High School and a retired Tool & Dye Machinist.  He was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.  Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.   He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and a fanatic on keeping his vehicles spotless.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Teresa is a son Travis Thibeault and his wife Brittany, Shirley, IN, a daughter Kayla Mutch, Peru, IN, brothers Steven Thibeault and his wife Nancy, Marion, IN, Gary Thibeault, Peru and Tom Thibeault, Peru and a sister Annamarie Harmon and her husband Danny, Peru, grandchildren Baleigh Black, Jordan Mutch, A.J. Thibeault, Addisyn Mutch, Lucas Thibeault, Remington Thibeault and Draxton Mutch.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of James E. Thibeault will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. 5th St., Peru with Rev. Adam Mauman officiating.  Family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru.  There will be a Prayer Service at 8:00 P.M, Friday at the funeral home. Military Graveside Services provided by members of the Miami County Military Rites Unit will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 3, 2023, at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the St. Charles Catholic Church or the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
