James Roger Marquis

James Roger Marquis, 80, formerly of Peru passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, IN. He was born in Peru, IN on August 15, 1940 the son of Alven and Mary Baber Marquis.

Jim was a 1958 graduate of Peru High School, a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran and was retired from United Airlines.

Jim is survived by his children Kevin (Cynthia) Marquis of Lebanon, IN and Teri Ann (William) Emberton of Angola; his grandchildren Jared Emberton and Grace Emberton; his sister-in-law Viola Marquis of Peru, IN and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Alven “Buss”,  sister-in-law Charlene Marquis and brother Jerry Marquis.

A service celebrating the life of James Roger Marquis will be held Saturday, October 24 at 1:00 P.M. at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru, IN with Ronald Bowland officiating. Family and friends may gather Friday, October 23, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior the day of the service. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park.
