James Krupp, 70, of Muncie, passed away at 6:50 P.M., Monday, January 27, 2025 at his residence. Jim was born in Bellevue, Ohio, on August 22, 1954, the son of Donald R. and Frances Elve (Muscetta) Krupp. Jim went to Pike School, Bellevue, OH and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School and Bellevue Junior and Sr High Schools. He worked during his high school years at International Metal Hose Company and at NBC stores in Bellevue and Norwalk, Ohio. Jim was a lifetime member of the Eagles #490. Jim hired on in March of 1977 with Norfolk & Western Railroad at Blaire Yards in Fostoria, Ohio. Other stations were at East Wayne and Lima, Ohio. Jim was a Conductor working out of Frankfort, Muncie and Fort Wayne, Indiana and later at Decatur, Illinois, for a total of 38 years working for the Railroad until retiring on February 23, 2015. Surviving is a brother, Donald R. Krupp, Jr. and twin sister, Mary J. (Krupp) Pocock. A service celebrating the life of James Krupp will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Rev. Michael Block officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru. Family and friends will gather from Noon to 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
