Gregory Lynn Riley, 67, of Peru, passed away at 10:50 AM, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Dukes Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on November 8, 1956, the son of Garnet and Virginia Seese Riley. Greg married Tina Causey and she survives. Greg graduated from Kokomo High School and attended college for two years. He was a US Navy Veteran, and a retired forklift operator. Greg was an avid football fan and inspiring musician who especially loved the guitar. He is survived by his wife Tina, his children Crystal Riley of Kokomo, Angela Riley of Kokomo, Justyn Riley and his wife Olivia of Deedsville, and Garnet Riley of Mexico; a brother David Riley of Miami County, and a cousin, Ron Riley, who was like a brother to Greg. A service celebrating the life of Gregory L. Riley will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W Main St. Peru, with Rev. Randy Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, IN, with full military honors provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM, Monday, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
