Grace Haines

Grace Haines, 100, formerly of Marion, passed away at 3:35 P.M., Friday, April 1, 2022 at Milner Health Care, Rossville, IN. Grace was born in Amboy, on November 2, 1921, the daughter of Harvey and Mary Pearson Haines. Grace was a 1939 graduate of Amboy High School and retired as a clerk for Hook’s Drug Store in Marion. She was a member of the Women of the Moose , the American Legion Auxiliary Post 10 and a member of the Amboy Friends Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Grace is preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Haines and sisters Dorothy Corwin, Margaret Johnson, Pauline Flockencier, Betty Hahn and Lucile Hodson. A special thanks to Kenny and Jerilynn, Jim, Jill and Jack and CNA Laura Reed. Graveside services were held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 4, 2022 at Park Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Roy Jones officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, Amboy, IN.
