Glenda J (Johnson) Pence

Glenda J. Pence, 74, of Amboy, passed away at 6:30 AM, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Limeston County, AL on November 13, 1943, the daughter of Thomas H. and Bernice Webb Johnson.

Glenda married Rodney G. Pence at the Amboy Friends Church on August 11, 1962 and he survives. Glenda was a 1961 graduate of Oak Hill High School and attended the Open Door Fellowship Church, Mier, IN. She was a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband Rodney is a daughter Karen Miller and her husband Jeff of Fishers, IN, a son Paul Pence and his wife Kelly of Loveland, CO and grandchildren Lauren Pence and Evan Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Movaline Olinger and a brother Robert Johnson.

A service celebrating the life of Glenda J. Pence will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main Street, Amboy, IN with Pastor Dwight Elliott officiating, Burial will be in the Park Lawn Cemetery.

Family and friends will gather from 4:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
