George E. Good Obituary

George E. Good, 95, of Amboy, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He was born in Lagro, IN, on March 5, 1930, the son of Dorsey and Alice Lottridge Good. George married Sue Brock on November 29, 1971, and she survives. George was a United States Air Force veteran where he proudly served in the Korean War. George always had a smile on his face, was ready to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest. In addition to his wife Sue, George is survived by his children Tony Good of Wabash, Teri (Denny) Evans of North Webster, Tam (Mitch) Smith of North Webster, Sandy (Frank) DeSanto of Warsaw, Steve (Devon) Good of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren Millie, Tara, Matt, Jeremy, Michelle and Shelby; great-grandchildren Brooke, Alyssa, Mason, Walker and Maddie; great-great-grandchildren Harper and Mylin; and siblings Phil Good, Burl Good, and Mary Bowling. George was preceded in death by his parents, a son JR Good, and siblings Betty Funk, Pauline Pavlik, Earl Good, Mildred Good, Phyllis Garrett and Robert Good. A service celebrating the life of George E. Good will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main Street, Amboy, IN, with Pastor Roy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy, IN, with Military Honors provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit. Family and friends will gather from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Tuesday, at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Newport Lions Club.
