Franklin L. Russo

Franklin L. Russo, 73, of Peru passed away at 11:45 AM, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Laurel Heights Senior Living in London, KY. He was born on March 2, 1948 the son of Samuel J. and Pauline J. Shultz Russo.

Frank attended Maconaquah High School. After High School Frank enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served his country in Vietnam. His Military Decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. Frank was a disabled American Veteran.

He is survived by his sister Carmen Rinehart and her husband David of Alpha, KY, a sister-in-law Rose Mary “Penny” Russo of Peru and her daughter Bekah McKinley of Kokomo as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dan Russo.

A service celebrating the life of Franklin L. Russo will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru, IN with Frank’s nephew Rev. Adam Rinehart officiating. Burial will be in the Peoria Cemetery will Military Honors provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit. Family and friends will gather from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
