Frances L. “Fran” Rairigh, 74, of Peru, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 9:40 AM, at her residence. She was born in Logansport, Indiana on September 6, 1941, the daughter of Frank A. and Helen LaBounty Pasquale, Sr. Fran married William “Bill” Rairigh in Logansport on January 6, 1962, and he survives.
Fran attended Logansport High School, and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Through the years she worked as a cashier and a supervisor for Bona Vista, but it is in her role as family Matriarch that most will remember her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and loved her family unconditionally. She also enjoyed time with family, crocheting, needlepoint, puzzles, reading, and bird watching.
Surviving in addition to her husband Bill, is a daughter Christina Miltenberger and her husband Rex of South Bend, Indiana, sons Robert Rairigh and his wife Kathy of Milford, Indiana, Timothy Rairigh and his wife Debbie of Tehachapi, California, and James Rairigh and his wife Denise of Peru, Indiana; grandchildren Ryan and Jess Orban, Jessie and Josh Archer, Alexandria Rairigh, Benjamin Rairigh, Kayla Kelley, Brandon and Mary Hannah (Fiancé), and Tayler Rairigh; step grandchildren Kristin Martin and Joshua Barbeau; great-grandchildren Cadence and Jaxon Orban, Rowan and Tobias Archer, and Braelynn Rairigh; step-great-grandchildren Bailey King, Trent Barbeau, Blake Martin, Jasey Martin and Makenna Barbeau; brothers John Pasquale and his wife Judie, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, William Pasquale (deceased), Logansport, Indiana, and Frank Pasquale, Jr., Logansport, Indiana; a sister Marietta Snow and her husband Phil, Logansport, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Frances L. Rairigh will be held Saturday, December 12 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 West 5 th Street, with Rev. Adam Mauman officiating. Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport, Indiana. Family and friends will gather Friday from 4:00 -8:00 PM at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main Street, Peru, Indiana. There will be a prayer service Friday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Susan G. Komen foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness.
