Doris was a 1948 graduate of Peru High School and worked on the family farm alongside her husband. She was a member of the Erie United Methodist Church and Parkview United Methodist Church.
Doris was a dedicated farmer’s wife and spent much of her life, tending to her animals and crops. Her green thumb was evident in her own flower garden as beautiful blooms flourished every year. She could usually be found working on a craft, putting together a puzzle or playing cards with friends and family in her free time. Doris lived a full life and looked forward to the day she could be with her Lord and Savior.
